A sketch of Kobi

"KOBI Borrows a Pouch" and
"OSCAR Needs a Friend"

Two NEW story books of mine being illustrated
by the talented  Agy Wilson

While waiting to be illustrated, these two Aussie critters have hijacked my blog.  Kobi
thinks Agy made him look FAT, and they squabble together about everything - bummer!

As soon as Agy finishes illustrating their two books, and has them ready to upload onto             KINDLE - NOOK - iPOD and iPAD,  I'm going to kick both their furry butts off my
blog . . . sure as kangaroos hop!

Check out the trouble Kobi and Oscar are in.

This mid-grade adventure is boy friendly:
exciting, and fun to read.

Set in the Australian outback, on Coorparoo Cattle Station, the story takes
readers into the mid-part of 1900's. Taconi and his chatty cockatoo mate
Claude have a bunch of serious problems: his upcoming man ceremony, a scary
Medicine Man, his dad's crazed ideas,  and a wild emu that turns Taconi into
a hero of sorts.  Not to mention a walkabout for snake, witchetty grubs and
yabbies, plus how a young aboriginal boy is supposed to fit into both his

tribe and the world of the white man. However, his feathered mate Claude is
a mixed blessing. The mischievous bird offers great one-liners, but then almost
gets Taconi eaten alive by green ants.
